The conditions found at the time of the inspection were not typical of the normal conditions maintained at the establishment and arose because at the time of inspection, we had planned renovation works for the following week which was shown at the time.

All this was completed a few days after inspection including the kitchen safety flooring which had been removed when a new dishwasher and plumbing was installed has now been replaced. Issues with damp wall coverings have been replaced and all problem areas have been fully cladded. New cladding has been installed throughout the main kitchen and all walls have been newly painted.

All refresher training with staff has been completed and new cleaning rotas installed to keep the newly renovated areas in this condition.

Now we have been informed natural ventilation can be used we have installed fly screens for this and the dehumidifier has been moved into the main kitchen. A window had previously been installed but was not satisfactory.

All food was stored correctly. The issues came down to maintenance which had been delayed previously due to personal reasons
