The issues were not to do with the cleanliness of the building. We did not have a separate hand washing sink in the area, this has been corrected immediately with a new Hand Washing Only sink. The staff handbook and risk assessments were kept online on a laptop not always at the venue - this has now been printed and kept at the venue including the safer food better business handbook too, all on site and readily available at all times. The home where the home-made cakes are made has been registered as a food business in its own right and awaiting hygiene inspection. A new more desirable material chopping board has been purchased.
